Since its introduction in 2009, WIDE LOAD® has set the standard for extra-wide, deep-fitting safety footwear. Developed in Australia alongside leading orthopaedic specialists, custom shoemakers, and podiatrists*, the WIDE LOAD® last is engineered to an EEE+ fit, delivering approximately 8mm of additional forefoot width for improved comfort.

The specially engineered wide-profile steel toe cap is designed for workers with broader feet. It measures 12–15mm wider and 6mm higher than conventional safety caps, allowing better accommodation for custom orthotics.

Unlike earlier WIDE LOAD® models that used pre-attached sole and midsole units, the Series 3.0 range features direct injection dual-density polyurethane construction. This advanced process creates a stronger, more secure bond between the upper and sole. It combines a shock-absorbing, low-density midsole with a durable TPU outsole, making it ideal for demanding work environments.

The anatomically shaped forefoot increases ground contact by approximately 15% compared to standard work boots. This expanded surface area, together with a self-cleaning cleat pattern, enhances grip and stability. A bevelled heel strike and cushioned heel zone help minimise fatigue in the feet, legs, and lower back.
