Introducing the Wide Load Series 3 – the latest iteration of one of the world’s leading safety boots, specifically designed for workers with wider feet.

Since 2009, WIDE LOAD® has been the benchmark for wide-fit, deep-profile safety footwear. Designed and developed in Australia with input from orthopaedic specialists, custom shoemakers, and podiatrists*, the WIDE LOAD® last follows an EEE+ fit, adding approximately 8mm of extra forefoot width for improved comfort and fit.

The wide-profile steel toe cap is engineered to accommodate broader feet, measuring 12–15mm wider and 6mm higher than standard safety caps. This design also allows easier fitting of custom orthotics.

Series 3.0 introduces a direct injection dual-density polyurethane sole, providing a stronger bond between the upper and sole. This combination of a low-density, shock-absorbing midsole with a durable TPU outsole ensures excellent performance in demanding working conditions.

The anatomically shaped forefoot increases ground contact by about 15% compared to standard boots. Together with a self-cleaning cleat design, it enhances grip and stability. A bevelled heel strike and cushioned heel zone reduce fatigue in the feet, legs, and lower back.

A fibreglass shank enhances torsional rigidity and midfoot support while guiding the foot’s natural flex.

Additional features include breathable AirMesh lining, heavy-duty YKK zippers with press-stud closure, reinforced heel stiffener, TPU scuff cap, and a removable PU cushioned footbed with a 260gsm antibacterial mesh top layer. A 3mm EVA tuning insert allows minor adjustments for a perfect fit.
