Meet the Wide Load Series 3 – the newest generation of high-performance safety boots, purpose-built for workers who need extra width without compromising on protection or comfort.

Since its debut in 2009, WIDE LOAD® has established itself as a leading name in wide-fit, deep-profile safety footwear. Designed and developed in Australia with input from orthopaedic experts, custom footwear manufacturers, and podiatrists*, the WIDE LOAD® last follows an EEE+ fit, delivering an additional 8mm of forefoot space for improved comfort and fit.

The specially designed steel safety cap is tailored for wider feet, measuring 12–15mm broader and 6mm higher than standard caps. This allows greater internal space and makes it easier to accommodate custom orthotics.

The Series 3.0 construction introduces a direct injection, dual-density polyurethane sole system. This modern manufacturing method strengthens the bond between the upper and sole, offering improved durability over previous designs. It combines a lightweight, shock-absorbing midsole with a robust TPU outsole built to handle demanding environments.

An anatomically contoured forefoot increases the contact area with the ground by approximately 15% compared to standard boots. This larger footprint, along with a self-cleaning cleat design, enhances traction and stability. A bevelled heel and cushioned heel zone help reduce strain on the feet, legs, and lower back during long workdays.

A fibreglass shank is built into the midfoot area to improve torsional strength and provide additional support, while also guiding the foot’s natural flex.

Additional design elements include breathable AirMesh lining, heavy-duty YKK zips with press-stud fastening, a reinforced heel counter, TPU scuff protection, and a removable PU cushioned footbed with a 260gsm antibacterial mesh top layer. A 3mm EVA insert is also included, allowing wearers to fine-tune the fit if needed.
