Wide Load Series 3 – Extra Wide Safety Boot
Introducing the Wide Load Series 3 – the latest generation of high-performance safety boots designed specifically for workers with wide feet. Since 2009, WIDE LOAD® has set the benchmark for wide-fitting, extra-depth safety footwear. Developed in Australia in collaboration with leading orthopaedic specialists, custom shoemakers, and podiatrists*, the WIDE LOAD® last follows an EEE+ fit, providing approximately 8mm of extra forefoot width for enhanced comfort.
The wide-profile steel toe cap is engineered for broad feet, measuring 12–15mm wider and 6mm higher than standard caps. This extra space allows easier use of custom orthotics, while still offering maximum safety protection.
Series 3.0 features a direct injection dual-density polyurethane sole, creating a secure and durable bond between the upper and midsole. This combination of a low-density, shock-absorbing midsole and a hard-wearing TPU outsole ensures excellent traction and durability in demanding work environments.
The anatomically designed forefoot increases ground contact by approximately 15%, while the self-cleaning cleat sole enhances grip and stability. A bevelled heel strike and cushioned heel zone help reduce fatigue in the feet, legs, and lower back during long shifts.
A fibreglass shank provides torsional rigidity and midfoot support, helping the foot flex naturally while improving stability. Additional features include breathable AirMesh lining, heavy-duty YKK zippers with press-stud closure and lower zip guard, reinforced heel stiffener, TPU scuff cap, and a removable PU cushioned footbed with 260gsm antibacterial mesh top layer. A 3mm EVA tuning insert is included to fine-tune the fit if required.
