Introducing the Wide Load Series 3 – the latest evolution in high-performance safety footwear, specifically designed for workers with wider feet.

Since launching in 2009, WIDE LOAD® has become a leader in extra-wide, deep-fitting safety boots. Designed and developed in Australia in collaboration with orthopaedic specialists, custom footwear makers, and podiatrists*, the WIDE LOAD® last is built to an EEE+ fit, providing approximately 8mm of additional forefoot width for superior comfort.

The wide-profile steel toe cap has been purpose-built for broader feet, measuring 12–15mm wider and 6mm higher than standard safety caps. This design also allows better accommodation for custom orthotics.

The Series 3.0 introduces a direct injection dual-density polyurethane construction, replacing earlier pre-attached sole designs. This advanced method creates a stronger bond between the upper and sole, improving durability and overall performance. The system combines a lightweight, shock-absorbing midsole with a tough TPU outsole, making it ideal for demanding work conditions.

An anatomically shaped forefoot increases ground contact by around 15% compared to standard work boots. This expanded footprint, paired with a self-cleaning cleat pattern, enhances grip and stability. A bevelled heel strike and cushioned heel zone help reduce fatigue in the feet, legs, and lower back.

A fibreglass shank is integrated into the design to improve torsional stability and support through the midfoot, while also helping the foot flex naturally.

Additional features include breathable AirMesh lining, heavy-duty YKK zippers with press-stud closure, a reinforced heel counter, TPU scuff cap, and a removable polyurethane cushioned footbed with a 260gsm antibacterial mesh top layer. A 3mm EVA “tuning” insert is also included to allow for minor fit adjustments if needed.
